President

Rick Bravo is both the founding owner and sitting President of the company. He oversees production, safety and workmanship. His 5+ decades of experience enveloped by integral values that quality and character count provide a job well done. His hands-on approach ensures he will perfect your roof while building your trust. Rick Bravo and credibility go hand-in-hand.

Q: How did you get started in the industry?

A: My dad was a roofer. I used to go ride with him in the summer to do new construction all over Southern California. I started sweeping and picking up trash. At nine years old, I started shingling. My dad would let me drive the truck to pick up material at 12 years old. Roofs at that time were only $500 for a three bedroom home. 

Q: What team value means the most to you?
A: Team work – It always takes a group from inside the office to outside in the field.

Q:  What is the best part of your job?

A:  I like meeting people and love a good roofing challenge.

Q: What is your hobby outside of work?

A: I love to fish and my newest hobby is recreational target shooting!

Q: What is your favorite place to eat?

A: A really good prime rib and seafood place.

VP of Client Partnerships

Christie Bravo is continuing the legacy of trust
and integrity. As Vice President, Christie’s considerable education and expertise in roofing and relationships are reflected in her collaborative leadership style. She balances ensuring client satisfaction and overseeing all partnerships successfully with effective communication, detailed documentation and continual education.

Q: How did you get started in the industry?

A: I’m a native to the industry – Family brought me in!

Q: What team value means the most to you?

A: Positivity. I believe you can find a positive in everything.

Q:  What is the best part of your job?

A: The PEOPLE. I love people’s energy (positive of course) if it is negative, it challenges me to turn it around!

Q: What is your hobby outside of work?

A: Spending time with family anywhere there is a view, whether it’s on the beach or in the mountains. I love empowering women in business, I love helping and encouraging people to figure out what the fire is inside them and then encourage them to act on it!

Q: What is your favorite place to eat?

A: I absolutely love chips and salsa; anywhere that has the best of both of these!

TONY SOTO

Superintendent

Tony Soto is our Superintendent. His industry experiential knowledge, spanning over 25 years, is evident in his job execution. He manages the crew with a “can do” mindset and provides trustworthy customer service. Leading by example along with quality control, Tony represents the Bravo Way guaranteeing a job well done.

Q: How did you get started in the industry?

A: Five years ago, I was hired as a yardman, where I cleaned, washed, and loaded trucks.  Then I worked up to become a mechanic and then became a laborer. As time went on, I became more experienced in roofing and moved up to Foreman. It has been my priority to continue learning new technologies, new systems of roofing, and gaining experience in the roofing industry. Today, I still love learning about roofing and I’m excited about each project we take on!

Q: What team value means the most to you?

A: There are many team values I appreciate, which include: accomplishment, hard work, honesty, dependability, and efficiency.

Q: What is the best part of your job?

A: Accomplishing new things and challenging myself to try new things.

Q: What is your hobby outside of work?

A: I like to go out and fly my drone around parks to get a nice view of nature.

Q: How did you get started in the industry?

A: My mom (Christie) encouraged me to join the Bravo team! Since starting, I have learned so much about the roofing industry and I am proud to be a part of our family-owned business.

Q: What team value means the most to you?

A: My favorite team value is leadership because we have the opportunity to develop our leadership and encourage those around us. Empowerment, communication and teamwork are also important to me.

Q: What is the best part of your job?

A: I love being a part of a fourth generation family-owned and operated company. The fact I get to work alongside my family each day, while leaving a legacy for generations to follow and serving clients at the same time is why I love being a part of this team.

Q: What is your hobby outside of work?

A: I like walking dogs and hanging out with friends.

Q: What is your favorite place to eat?

A: Forget fancy restaurants … I live for a delicious cheeseburger.
